A Trampoline Review
AUTHOR: Greg Solent
A trampoline is a delightful piece of equipment the whole family can enjoy. There are many reasons for wanting a trampoline, and these reasons will dictate what style and size you purchase. What follows is a trampoline review to go over the basics so you can be better informed as you shop.
Large Trampoline Review There are large trampolines that are designed for backyard use. These can range in size – anywhere from 12-feet to 15- or even 16-feet in diameter. Some questions to ask yourself are:
- How large is my yard?
- How much room do I want a trampoline to take up?
- What shape trampoline is best suited to my family? Square or round?
- How large is my family?
- How many children might potentially be using the trampoline?
- What will my children primarily be doing on the trampoline? Will they just be bouncing, or are they involved in gymnastics?
- What is my budget? How much am I willing to spend on a backyard trampoline?
Size and price are the main considerations when purchasing a trampoline. A round trampoline generally is more durable and designed to last longer than square ones, but a square trampoline might be better suited to your backyard (since most backyards are square).
There are a wide variety of prices for large trampolines. You do not want to go the cheapest route, because this usually will net you an inferior, low-quality trampoline that is not going to hold up and will be lacking the best safety features. You don’t have to go the most expensive route either. Do your own review, and you’ll be able to find a trampoline that fits your needs and budget.
Small Trampoline Review Small trampolines are most often used for fitness inside your home. Here again, there are a variety of styles and price ranges to consider. You can find a 6-foot or an 8-foot round trampoline, which is great for most homes. Many can fold easily in half for storage or travel. Some these days are even able to fold in quarters for even more portability.
Small trampolines are really viewed as pieces of exercise equipment. If you are looking for a way to exercise aerobically, but are not interested in jogging or running, or if you find a treadmill rather boring, conducting a health benefits trampoline review will open your eyes to the fact that jumping is considered to be extremely beneficial to your health. There are many benefits, and essentially no drawbacks to using a small trampoline. Even the very elderly can get significant benefits from gently “health bouncing” on a trampoline.
Just make sure you do review what’s out there and find a mini-trampoline, or rebounder, that fits your needs. And then – enjoy!
